The Cabin is a spacious split level studio apartment with paved sun terrace, situated at the end of a quiet courtyard in the town centre, just half a minute from the main quay and waterfront. Shops, Pubs and Restaurants are all but a short walk away. Entrance is by a stable door over the patio. The apartment interior is finished and equiped to high standard with fitted carpeting throughout. Electric heating-wiring, and all appliances comply with the latest safety standards. Perfectly Located

Both properties offer the advantage of being situated on LEVEL GROUND just off the main FORE STREET, adjacent to all amenities. (All Shops, Pubs, Restaurants and other facilities are based along Fore and Island Steet). If unfamiliar with Salcombe, note that it is built upon a steep hillside. Brochure descriptions of properties with 'Estuary Views' or 'Sea Views' often mean a steep walk of upto 400ft above sea level.

 

Bedding, Heating & Electricity

Duvets are changed on a regular basis and at Clifton Place include a choice of 4 Tog up to 13 Tog. The linen shelf contains spare duvets, covers pillowcases and bottom sheets but for peace of mind you may wish to bring your own. Electric blankets are included for winter use but rarely used - no frost at water level. All heating and electrical usage is included in the price quoted, with all appliances fully compliant with the latest safety standards.

 

Additional Benefits and Specific Requirements

A Babysitter is available and own boat moorings can be arranged. Should you have any other questions or specific needs please enquire. Although based in Ross-on-Wye I am in Salcombe most weekends and on hand to help.

 

Booking

Holidays are from Saturday to Saturday. Arrive 3.00pm - Depart 11.00am. (Part weeks out of season are also available.)

Booking Procedures for No.8 or The Cabin are thus:-

  • Phone to reserve your chosen date. (We will hold this date for five working days)
  • Send a cheque deposit (1/5th of amount) and we shall confirm by return first class post.
  • About one week before the holiday send the balance and by return you receive keys, and any additional information requested
